Yesterday on the Order of Business Senator O'Brien rightly raised the question of the disability allowance and many other Members have raised it since then. As was stated, in the other House today the Taoiseach announced that the Minister for Social Protection has paused the disability measure until Ms Ita Mangan, the chairman of the taxation and social welfare advisory group, has carried out a review of entitlements to domiciliary care and allowances. That is welcome.
