Jim D'Arcy (Fine Gael)

The bridge will stand as a constant reminder of her great work and it will show the constant need to keep alive links between the two parts of this island. I also draw to the attention of the House that it would be the first monumental civic structure to be named after a lady. It is more than time that this be done in this country and in this State.
