I second the amendment to the Order of Business proposed by Senator Darragh O'Brien. I am very glad he has raised this issue. The Leader mentioned that the Minister of State, Deputy Brian Hayes, was required to answer a question before the Dáil. The Ministers, Deputies Shatter and Rabbitte, should also be required to answer a question before the Dáil and the Seanad as to why have they contributed to the debasing of public debate by the manner in which they have conducted their argumentation on these referenda.
