It is a practice that has evolved in the House that some Members might not necessarily welcome. The reading of scripts should be avoided, if possible, but it is not against Standing Orders. While the Chair does not have an opinion on this, I suggest that the Senator's remarks may provoke a positive reaction among some Members of the House.
