Terry Leyden (Fianna Fail)

I thank the Minister for coming to the House. She has been very attentive in doing so. She was very effective in this House when she was the Leader of the Opposition.

This Bill was brought forward by the last Government so naturally we did not intend to oppose it. We welcome it. The Minister's Department is one of the most important in the State, particularly now, and I believe this Minister has a great grasp of the issues. I welcome her clear and well articulated comments on the Donegal case and the Cloyne report. Well done to her.
