The Minister indicated he would seek the advice of his Department, the Office of the Attorney General and the Department of Justice and Equality. Will this take two months, six months or longer? Is it possible the advice may not be available before the next finance Bill is introduced? Senators need clarification before we can consider the Minister's response to the recommendation.
