Last week Senator White went on record with the allegation that the university Senators think they are superior to everyone else. It reminded me of the joke about the Corkman with the inferiority complex who thought he was the same as everyone else. Listening to Senator White's eloquent defence of the Seanad and her case for Seanad reform this morning nobody could believe that anymore. She deserves to be commended for bringing to our attention the deliberations of the group referred to. It should be said that in criticising the Government for its hasty and populist rush with the proposal for Seanad abolition Senator White should also criticise her own party leader and the leader of the Labour Party-----
