Michael Mullins (Fine Gael)

I join others in welcoming the Minister of State, Deputy Fergus O'Dowd, and thank the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government,Deputy Phil Hogan, for coming into the House to clarify the Government's position on water charges. Contrary to what has been reported in the media, we have seen that there is unanimity among the Government parties on the way to proceed on this matter.

I am amazed at Fianna Fáil Members in tabling the motion.
