Yes. However, as other speakers noted a meeting is taking place today between the Taoiseach and the leader of the Green Party. The Leader should give the House a proper comprehensive update tomorrow because last week he did not have the right information regarding legislative priorities.

Senator Twomey mentioned the need for the Minister for Finance, Deputy Brian Lenihan, to come to the House and update Members as to how we might surmount the cost to our economy of the interest rate set by the EU-IMF's so-called bailout by achieving a reduction in that rate, if possible. It appears that little or no progress was made on this matter at the recent meeting the Minister attended in Brussels. Perhaps the Leader might arrange a very early debate on that matter.
