My selection of the prawn is not just a matter of personal taste, there is also a commercial aspect involved. There simply is no other prawn species on the planet that can come near the Atlantic or Dublin Bay prawn. It is succulent and exported to Paris. A couple of years ago in a brasserie in Paris - it was not even an upmarket restaurant - I remember spending €15 for two prawns which had been flown in from Ireland.
