Rónán Mullen (Independent)
He said, "The last of the human freedoms - to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way." It is very important to bear in mind the need that we retain freedom to choose our attitude in this time of crisis. There is a lot of anger and negativity towards politicians and the political system. We have to lead by example in this House. The way the media communicate is important, as we must not have the degeneration in the quality of public debate that we have seen. We could do with having a moratorium on heckling in this and the other House-----
