It is not politics as usual and that is why it has been the case until now. I wish to correct the record in respect of Senator Burke's comments on job creation and what the current Government and Fianna Fáil-led Governments have been doing since 1997. We created 600,000 jobs since 1997. Some 1.8 million people are working today despite the major global downturn in every country in the world at present.
