I welcome the Minister of State back to the House. I thought this was part of another debate that had taken place previously and that I had already make a contribution to it; therefore, I am glad to have an opportunity to make a further contribution. I think the Minister of State is here more often now than when he was a Member of the House.

I want to make the point to Senator Phelan that we tend to forget that the banking system did not collapse. That is what we need to remember. To be fair to the Senator, he corrected himself.
