I acknowledge the response of the Minister of State and, in particular, the last line of his statement. I will revert to the family to which I referred in my contribution. In the Minister of State's reply, I welcome the fact that 25,000 non-nationals were refused entry on the basis that they were a danger or a threat to society. I note from the reply that it is a question of managing risk rather than eliminating it completely. I appreciate that. Is a database available at the point of entry which shows information about person X or Y who is awaiting trial, on remand or has a criminal record? Is an alert issued at the point of entry?
