I move amendment No. 2:

In page 12, between lines 29 and 30, to insert the following:

"(2) The Minister shall make provision for payment of any fee or charge under this Act to be made by electronic means.".

This a technical amendment that we also tabled on Committee Stage seeking provision for the payment of charges under the Bill to be made by electronic means. Many local authorities accept payments by electronic payments for their services. There is much discussion about the smart economy and so on. This should be the case in all local authorities. A sensible amendment has been proposed and I hope the Minister will take it on board.
