Senator Glynn outlined his serious concerns regarding moves by certain employers to reducing the pay of their staff to a level that was almost on a par with the minimum wage. I agree with the sentiments expressed by the Senator. The Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation has agreed to come before the House at an early stage to discuss employment matters such as job creation, as well as the other policy areas relating to his portfolio.
