I raise an issue which I have raised in the House on a number of occasions, that is, the attitude the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Deputy Mary Coughlan, has taken towards emigration and the creation of jobs for young people. I wish to focus on the fact that in the past two years the number of people under the age of 25 years who have lost their jobs is 104,000. They account for almost 60% of the total number of job losses in the economy. These are the people who are bearing the brunt of the changes which have taken place in the labour market.
