I welcome Senator Mark Dearey to this House and congratulate him on being appointed by the Taoiseach, Deputy Brian Cowen. It is a great honour. It is the easiest election he ever fought. I welcome his wife, Laura, his daughter, and all his family, friends and supporters who are here. It is a great honour to serve in this House and in the Oireachtas.
