The contents of the amendment will be better addressed in a debate to be held in the very near future on specific legislation, as will the questions raised about extending a guarantee scheme to the credit union sector and the need for a proper SPS scheme. The Minister of State repeated the status quo and did not confirm what the Senator has been told in recent years in this House. That too can be examined in that debate. I hope that the House supports the original motion and I thank Members for their contributions to this debate.
