I have notice from Senator Cecilia Keaveney that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to give an update on the equalisation of mobile telephone calls and the elimination of roaming costs on an island and European basis.

I have also received notice from Senator Pearse Doherty of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to allow Bunbeg national school and Pobalscoil Gaoth Dobhair, County Donegal, to proceed to tender for and construction of the much needed extensions.

I have also received notice from Senator Jerry Buttimer of the following matter:

The need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to indicate the strategies she is putting in place and the plans for FÁS apprentices who have lost their training places and cannot find alternative placement.

I have also received notice from Senator Eugene Regan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to outline his proposals for the rebuilding of Newpark comprehensive school, Blackrock, County Dublin, including the timescale in relation to planning, final design and commencement of works.

I have also received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames of the following matter:

Whether the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government is aware of the serious concerns expressed regarding the location of a sewage treatment plant at a scenic site adjacent to the pier at Céibh An tSrutháin, Carraroe, County Galway.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Cecilia Keaveney, Pearse Doherty and Jerry Buttimer as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. I regret I have to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Fidelma Healy Eames as the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter. Senator Eugene Regan may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
