This morning when listening to "Morning Ireland" I was outraged to hear that Mr. FitzPatrick of Anglo Irish Bank had been taking a salary of €430,000 and that he had lent €87 million to his directors and to other banks. He was secretly moving it around from director to director. We discussed the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill in the House the other day, and as spokesperson on social welfare I appealed to the Minister to raise the fuel allowance by €2 per week. This Government has bailed out the banks and this carry-on has been accepted. That is the bottom line. We are accepting this sort of carry-on. I am not, but the Members opposite, in Government, are, by turning a blind eye. It was a coincidence that the chief executive resigned last night after the Dáil broke up. Is that not interesting? The Minister for Finance refused——
