I have received notice from Senator Paschal Donohoe that, on the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to clarify the steps that will be taken by the Government to increase public understanding of any agreements between Ireland and other European countries in relation to the Lisbon treaty before the running of any future referendum.

I have also received notice from Senator Joe O'Toole of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to clarify the way in which he can ensure value for money in expenditure on school building projects, in particular at Ard Mhuire national school in Belgard, Tallaght, in light of the current economic crisis and the need therefore to ensure value for money with all State expenditure.

I have also received notice from Senator John Paul Phelan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to clarify the plans he has to reverse the budget decision to eliminate the grand aid to Protestant fee paying schools with particular reference to Kilkenny College.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
