The consensual approach taken by Opposition parties in the Dáil will continue in this House. While the Fine Gael Party welcomes the Charities Bill 2007 in principle, as noted by Deputy Ring, my party's spokesperson in the Lower House, we have certain reservations. I, too, will raise anomalies in the Bill, for example, the absence of provisions on the promotion and advancement of human rights.
