On Senator Quinn's point, one report today suggests that the person who has been lodged in Limerick Prison handed himself up to the courts office and the gardaĆ were notified. If this is correct, it suggests that the intensity of the public outrage is having a psychological effect on these people. I very much empathise with the views put forward today that there should be some accommodation to have an urgent discussion, an ongoing debate, on a profound item of this nature.
