I would like the Leader to know that we are not trying to make life difficult for him but are trying to be constructive. Clearly, the legislation will not be dealt with in the Seanad before 12 a.m., so we are into tomorrow in any event. That is why it makes sense to leave it until tomorrow. As Senator Ross said, we should be given a reason the Leader chose this time. Perhaps that would clear up the matter.
