I have a comment I would ask the Minister of State to relay to the Minister for Health and Children. I was a student in Jordanstown for a number of years and even now I will get called for cervical smear tests in the North every two years. If I do not follow up that appointment, I get a letter asking me to sign a disclaimer indicating I have voluntarily refused not to take up the offer.

I ask the Minister of State to request of the Minister for Health and Children, Deputy Harney, to liaise with the people in the Executive in the North to see how the structure there operates, given that availability of these facilities there is normal. Perhaps the Department could learn from the regular activity in the North in the cancer screening and other public health areas.
