Special Educational Needs: Statements (Resumed).
12:00 pm
Alex White (Labour)
The reason I am perplexed about this matter is that the Minister gives the impression of a major level of disagreement, argumentation, debate, and scratching of heads among the experts. Where is the evidence of this? Will the Minister publish this for us? A leading member of the task force of 2001 stated the unbiased literature reviews and related research of the task force undoubtedly found that following the method of applied behaviour analysis was by far superior to other approaches. ABA was also consistently advocated by other bodies which had researched the same issue in New York, California and Canada. This was stated by a member of the Minister's task force.
