I support the amendment to the Order of Business. This Chamber must debate the matter today. I listened to Senator Kelly's comments on time and space. This issue has been brewing since September and is not a new issue. When I sought a debate on this last September I was told to raise it when the Minister was debating another issue. I did so but we continually called for debates. This is the second proposed amendment to the Order of Business to propose that the Minister comes to the House to answer these questions. Senators are aware of the implication if this is concluded — rural pharmacies will close down.
