Every year 90% of abortion related deaths and disabilities could be avoided if women had access to effective contraception. I have no concerns about the Government's position. I congratulate the Government on what it has done. It is vital it continues to make the contribution at international level that it has. Ireland should have no concerns, such as those expressed by earlier speakers, in respect of the UNFPA. The agency is doing magnificent work and we ought to support it.
