I support Senators O'Toole and Ó Murchú in respect of the case in Saudi Arabia. Evil prospers when good men stay silent. If we stay silent, evil will prosper in this case. How have those in America and Britain who uphold democracy, and rabbit on about human rights in other countries, managed to stay silent in this case?

Regardless of what they do, will the Leader ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs to take up the matter with the Saudi Arabian ambassador? We sent a delegation to Saudi Arabia prior to the election and we must have contacts there that would ensure this injustice does not occur.
