I have notice from Senator Kelly that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline the action she is taking to restore public confidence that adequate resources are being allocated to the ambulance services given the recent concerns expressed by ambulance personnel.

I have also received notice from Senator Norris of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to intervene in the case of a South African citizen (details supplied) who has applied for citizenship for himself, his wife and his daughter each of whom is being processed inexplicably on a different timescale.

I have also received notice from Senator Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to outline the efforts being made to attract major employers into the north west and to secure existing employment that will impact on Donegal given the ongoing employment difficulties since the decline of the textile industry and taking cognisance of the recent plant closure announcement by Seagate.

I have also received notice from Senator Donohoe of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport and Marine to provide an update on the progress made towards delivering integrated ticketing for public transport.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Kelly, Norris and Keaveney and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Donohoe may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
