Pharmacy Bill 2007: Second Stage
6:00 pm
Fergal Browne (Fine Gael)
The problem is years ago people could train to be a pharmacist by doing an apprenticeship and, therefore, a different system was in place. Are many people who came through this system still in the industry? While they may not have the qualifications required nowadays, they can still make a significant contribution. There is concern that they will be forced out of business because of the legislation.
