Not only was it a fantastic result and occasion but the pluralism, tolerance and good sportsmanship of the entire country was reflected in Croke Park last Saturday in contrast to the more ugly and prejudiced remarks, some of which unfortunately emanated from this House last week, by people who used the occasion for their own narrow political ends.
