Consumer Protection Bill 2007: Committee Stage

I accept that. I assure the Minister that the intention of the provision in the first part of the amendment in keeping the complainant regularly informed is to do so without in any way breaching confidentiality. In the interests of the consumer, I believe I must press the amendment. I respect what the Minister said, but it is important in the interests of natural justice and equity that we do that.
