Senator Leyden referred to medicines. A sub-committee of the Joint Committee on Health and Children has almost completed a report on the adverse effects of pharmaceuticals which will make for an interesting debate. All Members of this House should call for legislation to curb the availability of drugs on-line. This has serious implications for public health and we should be as one to ensure this practice is stopped.
The Minister for Health and Children is a gutsy and courageous Minister who is doing a difficult job.
