Some confusion appears to have arisen as a result of media reports on the cohesion process of the Leitrim partnership, the Roscommon partnership and the Arigna Leader programmes. The House will be aware that the Minister is engaged in a range of cohesion projects. The geographical location and history of the Arigna Leader programme and its relationship with the two partnerships have given rise to complicated consultations among interested parties, so I felt it timely to ask the Minister to provide clarity on the eventual outcome of these negotiations.
