Order of Business
11:00 am
Paul Coghlan (Fine Gael)
Ever since the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform suggested the abolition of stamp duty, and despite the Minister for Finance indicating he is set against such a change, there is continuing uncertainty in the property market regarding property-related taxes. This is not good for stability in this important sector. The Government urgently needs to speak definitively with one voice on this matter. Will the Taoiseach take an early opportunity to say something definitive on the matter?
