Earlier this summer the report of the Inspector of Mental Health Services was published. I would be grateful if the Leader could arrange time for a debate on this and on the recently published report for 2005 on the Prison Service. I ask that the reports of the Inspector of Prisons and Places of Detention and of the visiting committees for the various prisons, be included in the debate. The prisons have been the subject of a considerable amount of comment during the summer. It would be useful if the House addressed the facts of what is happening within these institutions.
