Social Partnership Agreement: Motion.

7:00 pm

Brendan Daly (Fianna Fail)

I recall vividly, when I was in Government in those early days of the process and beforehand in the 1980s, industrial dispute after industrial dispute. People walked up and down outside after marching to Leinster House. People were at the front and back gates. It was almost impossible to get in on numerous occasions. We do not want to go back to the days when there was industrial chaos. It would be disastrous for the country.
