It is perhaps time to examine the success of the agreement up to now and broaden the horizons of the process. It would not take from social partnership if some Members of the Oireachtas were part of the team involved in negotiations.

I listened carefully to Senator Ross and I value his views on the matter. In the contribution he made, he did not at any time offer any alternative.
