Local Authority Operations: Motion.

I welcome the content of the motion, which is yet another in the long list of issues that have made the lives of working families a misery in recent years, the first being the extraordinary price of houses and the second being the extraordinary difficulty of child care. I welcome this debate also because it is further evidence of the fact that this Government is in the process of falling apart in that it cannot agree on issues that are Government policy.
