The Leader of the House will be aware, more than any other Member, of the exacting standards set out for officeholders in respect of records of official meetings. Section 2.2.6 of the guidelines for officeholders refers specifically to the question of having officials and notetakers in attendance at a meeting a Minister would have with a third party.
