I welcome the decision of the Medical Council to investigate the three consultants who cleared Dr. Michael Neary. It is a positive step forward in the area of medical etiquette.

I support the call for a debate on refugees and associated issues. As was seen recently in Mullingar, there is strong evidence that a number of organised gangs from eastern Europe operate in the State. A number have been caught but many have not, so it would be an ideal opportunity to argue the case for the genuine refugee and for excluding those who are here for one thing only, namely, the rich pickings they gain by targeting people in rural areas.
