I strongly support Senator Brian Hayes in his remarks about people on trolleys. Ill people who go to hospital and then must lie on trolleys represent a most vulnerable section of society. How long does it take to resolve this problem? I support Senator Minihan and other Senators who have requested a debate when we return after the break.

I warmly welcome the €10,000 funding for the pilot study to end the misery of the people of the Black Valley.
