The need for the Minister for Education and Science to outline the plans she has in place to address the deficits in specific hours of tuition available for children with dyslexia.

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to address the urgent need for an ambulance base at Tuam, County Galway.

I have also received notice from Senator Bradford of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to review urgently her decision on risk equalisation in the health insurance industry and to ensure that competition in health insurance will be defended and promoted.

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to address the situation regarding the unanimous request of Killarney Town Council and numerous other interested parties in the provision of much-needed land at Church Road, Muckross, County Kerry, as a burial ground in the best interests of the entire community.

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to outline the reason no new businesses have been brought to the new IDA centre in Carlow town and when he expects a decision on same.

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to have the urgent extension of Ballina national school, Killaloe, County Tipperary, advanced to the next stage in light of the severe overcrowding of the school and of the Government's stated commitment in the programme for Government to reduce class sizes in primary schools.

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to reconsider the application of the board of management of Abbey national school, Loughrea, County Galway, for an extension and upgrading of facilities at the school in view of the fact that up to 30% of the enrolled students are in need of educational support and special needs assistants.

The need for the Minister for Transport to outline his proposals to counteract the adverse effects, both short and long term, for home owners on the route of the designated corridor of the N4 Drumsna to Longford road improvement scheme, particularly those located on the outer fringes, as the proposed development is already affecting property sales.

I regard the matters raised by Senators McHugh, Kitt, Bradford, Coghlan, Browne, O'Meara and Ulick Burke as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators McHugh, Kitt and Bradford and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Coghlan, Browne, O'Meara and Burke may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise. I regret I have been obliged to rule out of order the matters raised by SenatorBannon, as the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter.
