Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2005: Committee Stage (Resumed).
5:00 pm
Mary Henry (Independent)
I support the amendment because it is a good idea. Some people have strong views on the origin of meat, in particular. After a certain length of time, exported Irish beef herds acquire another nationality. Six weeks in a field in northern Italy can do much for one. Will bringing in these regulations cause any reciprocal troubles with other countries to which we export beef?
