I support this amendment. I also support Senator Minihan's comments, which make sense. I know a number of pharmacists who are excellent people and I hope this will be enabling legislation to provide for the necessary regulation in the future, if required, to complement, augment or introduce Senator Minihan's suggestion. I have always believed professionals such as nurses are an under-used resource. This is a belated recognition of their training, talents and expertise in a given area. I wish to emphasise "in a given area".
