Those sums would provide significant support to the health service if they were properly allocated. Beds, community care facilities and so on could be provided. What the Government is doing is shameful. I support the amendment to the order of Business. It is important that the House should debate this issue this evening. We cannot wait eight weeks for a report on this because the people want answers now.
