Disability Bill 2004: Report Stage.

3:00 pm

Sheila Terry (Fine Gael)

I will not press the amendment and I hope that it works out in line with what the Minister of State is saying. I do not want people to have to fight their way back into the service when finance is not available. When finance becomes available, the Minister of State stated that the service can be provided again. How difficult will it be for people to ensure that when money does become available, they can get the service provided? It seems to be imposing an unnecessary burden on individuals who care for someone to ensure that the service is delivered.
