I ask the Leader to organise a debate on the delivery of health services with particular reference to the Hanly report. It is unfortunate that the word "Hanly" has become a negative aspect of the health services given that there are so many positive elements in that document which could lead to a restructuring of the health services and put it on a solid footing. There are a couple of negative elements, for example, the proposed reduction in accident and emergency services at Nenagh and Ennis hospitals as part of a pilot programme. Clearly that is not acceptable to any of the politicians in that region. Ultimately I believe it will be changed. I would welcome the opportunity for the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children to come to the House and set the record straight. There is much public concern and, unfortunately, it is being generated by disingenuous organisations and groupings, particularly elements of the Opposition who have sought to make a political exercise out of this.
